The DAT72 and DAT160 cartridges are the latest evolution in the line of DDS technology that Sony co-developed 16 years ago. Building on the qualities that made DDS the most widely-accepted tape backup solution in the market, DAT72 and DAT160 add the capability to store 72GB and 160GB of compressed data on a single small cartridge respectively.
