Sony 's latest technology advancement in recordable CD is Double Density. Providing capacity up to 1.3GB, DD CD-R and DD CD-RW discs are ideal for system back up or large file storage. The new drives will require double density discs to achieve the 1.3GB storage capacity. StandardCD-R and CD-RW discs can be used on double density drives as well. CD-R Music
