An ultraportable PC must deliver maximum battery life. Typically, LCD displays are a primary source of power depletion. And a key feature of the TT notebook addresses this. A light sensor, placed discreetly above the keyboard, can sense ambient light and auto-optimize LCD brightness to its environment. When a room is bright, the sensor will maintain the brightness of the LCD to ensure easy viewing. But when an environment is darker, as in a plane, the sensor will lower the brightness of the LCD since a high degree of brightness is not required for easy viewing.
